About Haven Greenacres Holiday Park

Right on Traeth Y Greigddu, with the sand and sea within direct reach of the park, Haven Greenacres Holiday Park makes the most of its stretch of North Wales coast near Porthmadog. Gwynedd's hills and coastline surround the site, giving guests easy access to the beach as well as the wider countryside for cycling and walking.

Accommodation is well kept and roomy, suiting families and groups who want space to settle in, and touring pitches are available for those bringing their own outfit. On site, there's a restaurant and bar, a games room, laundry facilities and 24 hour reception, along with an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor SplashZone for cooler days. Entertainment is laid on, though it doesn't always land as well as the rest of the park.

Beyond the gates, there's fishing, golf and watersports nearby, plus further pubs and restaurants in the surrounding area for evenings off site. Staff on site are consistently described as helpful, and free on-site parking makes coming and going straightforward for those exploring more of North Wales.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Heavens Caravan, and it was a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience from start to finish. The caravan itself was spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The interiors were modern yet cozy, with a spacious and homely feel that made it easy to settle in straight away. The beds were very comfortable, and the living area was perfect for relaxing after a day out. One of the highlights of our stay was the beautiful seaside views. Waking up and enjoying the fresh sea air and scenic surroundings really made the stay special. The location is ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet still close to local attractions, shops, and coastal walks. It was also perfect for families, with great facilities for children, including play areas and activities that kept them entertained throughout the stay. This made it a fantastic choice for a family holiday, as both adults and kids had plenty to enjoy. Communication with the host was excellent throughout. They were friendly, welcoming, and ensured everything was ready for our arrival, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Heavens Caravan and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable seaside getaway, especially for families. We would definitely love to return in the future!

Yet again stayed on the Touring pitch. Arrived and was greeted with a lovely warm welcome from Clive who remembered us from last year. He gave us our welcome pack and pitch number 29 which was excellent as being in a wheel chair and husband also disabled ,put us near to amenities. The site was very clean and tidy and as soon as someone left Clive sprung into action checking pitch raking stones ensuring it ready for next customers despite the very hot heat he is an absolute star. The ladys on reception were also very kind caring and helpful. We ate in Mash and Barrel food was great as well as good service. The dog area is a great idea. We will definitely be back as our favourite Haven site and we have stopped at the majority of sites

The accommodation was okay, clean enough and comfortable. The static caravan was quite old so a bit frayed around the edges. The shower room had a bit of a whiff about it which seemed to decrease over the time we were there (warm weather so were able to leave windows open). Although clean enough it’s fair to say that we left it in a bit better state than when we arrived. (I guess that it always depends on the previous occupants care and attention). Kitchen had everything needed for a self catering stay. T.V. With good reception and all terrestrial channels. Good options for food and drink. Good location for visiting this area of Wales. One negative was the seemingly lack of control with dogs, one in the bar area (and not in the area for dogs) kept barking while the owners just sit there with an inane smile on their faces and another a few caravans away yapping all the time - only just far enough away to ignore!!! Other negative was very poor mobile phone signal and mobile broadband but this seemed to be a general issue in this part of Wales even in some of the townships. Site WiFi only good in the main buildings.

Last week I stayed with with my partner, 3 year old daughter and my Mom. We had the best week. The site itself was amazing. Clean, friendly, fun with plenty to do and keep the little entertained. We didn't pay for the extras as in the entertainment of an evening or swimming or other activities however we was still able to go into the bar and restaurant and also use the one site shop and arcade. This was just a personal preference to not have but will definitely be paying for this next time. The cavan we stayed in was in the bronze category and located a few mins walk from the beach which was great. The accommodation it self couldn't be faulted and if I had to find a fault it would only be that the microwave was up higher and in the corner which was hard to reach but thats only because I'm small and this is me looking for a fault. The bed were comfortable and bedsheets were on and clean on arrival. I could write for ages about everything but honestly couldn't find a fault. Felt safe at all times on site and the atmosphere was lovely. Even though our weather wasn't the best we all still had a great time and wanted to stay longer. We definitely want to come back and stay here again and next time pay extra for the entertainment stuff and stay longer than just a week.
