Clydfan

Trawsfynydd Lake sits within easy reach of Clydfan, a detached log cabin in the heart of Eryri National Park. The lake itself invites exploration on foot, while the surrounding mountains offer everything from gentle riverside paths to serious hill walks. The village and wider Snowdonia region have enough to occupy a week without repetition.

Inside, the cabin is arranged on a single level across an open-plan living, dining and kitchen space where you can cook full meals or simply gather. Two bedrooms sleep five: one has a double bed measuring 4ft 6in, the other a double with a single bunk above it. A shower room serves both. The kitchen is properly equipped for self-catering, with electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A wood-burning stove and electric central heating keep things warm. Outside, decking and garden furniture face onto a sitting area where you can watch the light change across the hills.

Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and parking for one car are included. Dogs are welcome at no extra cost. The cabin does not permit smoking. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00.
