About Bike Ranch Snowdonia

Bike Ranch Snowdonia is a campground in the Snowdonia region of Gwynedd, taking tent and motorhome pitches on a working farm. The site sits in a remote location with forest, lake and mountain views, and allows campfires and barbecues. With a capacity of 26 to 50 pitches, it is medium-sized rather than sprawling.

Facilities include a toilet block, hot showers, washing-up area, and a drying room – practical for the Welsh weather. There is a communal freezer and fridge, plus ice pack freezing; a charging point for devices; and internet access. Dogs are welcome year-round and there is a dog walk nearby. The site welcomes cyclists and those on Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, and staff are reported to be helpful.

The immediate area offers mountain biking, climbing, canoeing and kayaking, with a cycle hire service close by. Horse riding, fishing, golf and watersports are also nearby, along with a restaurant and shop. A pub or eating place is within reach for evenings off-site.

We had the best time staying here, after riding at coed y brenin my kids were desperate to get the bikes back out at the campsite and carry on! Both kids progressed by just having the ability to keep repeating them. The facilities at the campsite were well thought out with enough space for everyone. Fellow campers were friendly and the owner was really helpful giving out local info. Prices were really reasonable too. So glad we booked and stayed here and my kids are asking to come back already! Thanks for an awesome visit!

Just back from a superb weekend biking in Coed-Y-Brenin. Bike Ranch Snowdonia, is a superb little camp site a short ride up the road. Tim and his wife were so hospitable and took great pleasure in letting the kids try out the Saracen demo bikes on their purpose built jump lines in the camp. Met loads of like minded biking families and I'm pretty sure they all had a great time too. 100% We'll be back again!

This was hands down one of the best campsites we have ever stayed at. Great facilities, busy yet quiet at night, coed-y brenin right on the doorstep and the campsites has a jumps line!!!! What more can you ask for. The owners were really welcoming and informative. We were reccomended a pizza place in the local town and it was 10/10. We all didn't want ti come home yesterday. One other thing I really liked about this site is that you have something in common with everyone on site (mountain biking) We met some amazing families and our son Patrick made loads of new friends. On wednesday when we arrived he had never had the confidence to jump and take his two wheels of the ground on his bike. By thursday he was clearing the jumps and his skills have come on massive. I would highly reccomend this site and will definitely be returning. Thank you Bike Ranch. Carl, Siobhan and family

Great camping spot ran by a lovely couple. My son loves the jump lines on site, they're a great place for the kids to get together ❤️👍 Also you'll often see some amazing aircraft fly past as it's at the tail end of the Mach Loop. The views are beautiful from wherever you are on site. I'd highly recommend staying here. 👍
