Gors y Gader

Gors y Gader is a three-bedroom house in Gwynedd, sleeping six, with everything needed for self-catering already in place. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer; there's a utility room with a washing machine; heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. One dog stays free.

The ground-floor layout has a sitting room with Freeview TV, a separate dining room, and three bedrooms—two doubles (4ft 6in) and one with two single beds (3ft). The single bathroom has a bath with shower over. An enclosed garden with lawn and sitting area faces the house, with parking on site. A fenced pond is in the garden, so that's worth knowing.

Dolgellau, a stone market town with restaurants and shops, is nearby, as is the Mawddach Estuary. Cadair Idris, Wales's second-highest mountain, dominates the landscape. The property doesn't allow smoking.
