Hendy

Hendy is a characterful stone cottage built around exposed beams and a feature fireplace, its games room and woodburner making it a gathering place through quieter evenings. The building sits in Waunfawr, within reach of Snowdonia's walking trails, the Porthmadog area, Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula—all accessible for day trips or as bases for a longer stay. You have the whole property to yourself, with parking for three cars on site and a bike store if you're planning to explore under your own steam.

The layout spreads across a main house and a separate annexe. Downstairs you'll find a living and dining room with television and DVD player, a kitchen with electric cooker and full appliances including washer and tumble dryer, and a games room. Two further bedrooms are upstairs (one double, one with twin singles), sharing a bathroom with bath and shower. The annexe holds a third double bedroom with its own ensuite. Bed linen, wifi and initial logs for the wood burner are included, along with heating by meter reading. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

Outside, a lawned garden with courtyard and sitting area comes with barbecue and garden furniture. The property has a natural water supply fed by a spring; a stream runs through the garden about ten yards from the house. One dog stays free. Smoking is not permitted indoors.
