What visitors say

The place is really beautiful — the views and surroundings are impressive. The food in the pub is also very good and worth recommending. Unfortunately, the campsite atmosphere is not very suitable for families with children or for active holidays. We were a group of four families with teenagers. Before 8 p.m., we were quietly playing volleyball and spending time together, but we were asked to stop because we were supposedly disturbing other guests. This was surprising, since quiet hours only start at 10 p.m., so it’s hard to understand why normal family activity was a problem two hours earlier. The staff could also be a bit friendlier and more open. Our group felt a bit unwelcome from the start. Maybe this was just an impression, but several situations made us feel that way. If you are planning a trip with a larger group, this is definitely not the place for you. It is more suitable for people who prefer complete silence, reading, sitting on their phones, or quiet activities like chess.

Very nice. Great pub with friendly staff, good food and beers, and not daft prices. The road is not busy but occasional traffic at 6am definitely disturbs sleep. The washing facilities need attention though. Very clean but 2 sinks each for M & F are not enough for when it gets busy. Also they are on the poor side with no plugs in the sinks, nowhere to put a wash bag and no towel hooks! Simple to do and makes all the difference!

Used as a motorcycle touring base for a couple of days. Great location, quiet but with onsite pub and good showers and toilets.

Nice pub with delicious food. Ate the snowdon burger, it was delicious and you won't be hungry after! Would recomment!
