We stayed in this cottage for a week and absolutely loved it. Everything we needed was provided, and everything felt brand new. We were welcomed with a lovely welcome basket, which even included fresh eggs for breakfast. The location is beautiful, with a wonderful view from the breakfast table. The cottage is just a five-minute drive from Lake Llanberis, making it an excellent base for exploring the area, making hikes and enjoying your holiday.

I bumped into this chap who runs this place today after getting way lost on a walk. Top fella, accommodating, understanding and helpful in what was a stressful situation 😂 I wish I had your name/number as I’d definitely buy you a pint ! The property is amazing, views to die for and clearly run by a family who are welcoming and extremely proud of their heritage and indeed property ! I said it a few times today, thank you so much for being incredibly understanding, welcoming and tolerable of us! Top fella, Take care The lost Manc

This is an immaculate cottage you can just ease back into, whatever the time of year. My friends and I came in the winter to go hiking and this was the perfect base. We felt right at home, whether having a lazy brunch in the well-equipped kitchen diner or reclining in front of the fire at night, wine in hand. The beds were firm but comfortable. I slept very well (until my doggy piped up). Time for a new mattress at home. I also needed somewhere that felt remote after too much London but not disconnected from amenities and signs of life. Tick tick. Caernarfon is just down the road. Swing by Y Castel pub for lively local hospitality. The view from the front door is like a painting. Sheep, stream, a deep blanket of green. And the air – I haven't breathed that easy for a while. Looking forward to returning in the summer and making full use of the garden and terrace. Thanks, Elaine and David.
