Porthmadog sits within reach of Eryri National Park, the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways, Portmeirion, and castles at Harlech and Criccieth. The beaches and hill paths of Gwynedd are on your doorstep. Seaview Cafe Bistro & Coffee Lounge is nearby for when you don't cook.

QH Cottages - Tegfryn is a four-bedroom house sleeping eight, arranged across two floors and designed to suit families. The ground floor holds a living room with a wood-burning stove and smart TV, a separate sitting room with another smart TV, a kitchen/dining room equipped for cooking from scratch, and a toilet. Upstairs are four bedrooms—two with kingsize beds (one with an ensuite shower), one with two single beds, and one with bunk beds—plus a bathroom with a bath and shower. Heating is gas central, and essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and WiFi are covered. A travel cot and highchair are available if you ask. The front garden has a sitting area and furniture; parking is on the road. Access is via a footpath, with 24 steps to the entrance. No smoking inside.

This was the most stunning and beautiful place to stay! The views were just incredible, I feel like we had the best spot in the whole village. However, it did cost our legs! There is a very steep walk up to the house that you can't drive and it can be difficult carrying all your bags up and down. But other than that and running out of toilet roll, the house was absolutely perfect with every you need and more. The hosts were also great at responding and dealing with an issue of an alarm going off in the next house over that was disturbing our peace. Highly recommend this place and definitely go for the coastal walk to find the secluded beaches.

Great place with great views. Could have been a little cleaner in areas.
