Bangor sits at the gateway to Eryri National Park, with the Menai Strait to one side and mountains rising inland. The Old Hayloft occupies a quiet valley setting within reach of both the coast and higher ground—a 1700s stone cottage that has kept its character while being brought up to modern standard. Original slate flooring and a substantial inglenook fireplace remain, alongside the wood burner that dominates the living space during winter months.
Three double bedrooms fill the upper floor; one can be configured as a super-king or twin depending on what you need. The single bathroom contains a roll-top bath and walk-in shower. Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen and dining room centres on the wood burner, with a separate sitting area beyond. A private hot tub sits in the enclosed rear garden, positioned to look out across the valley. Parking is for one car. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; initial fuel for the burner comes with the property, with more available locally. The cottage is non-smoking.
This suits families or groups wanting space to spread across three floors and gardens, with easy access to Snowdonia's peaks, coastal walks and Bangor's town centre.
