Y Ddol

Y Ddol is a single-storey detached cottage on a working farm in Gwynedd, with everything you need for a self-catering stay already in place. The three bedrooms—two with double beds and one with singles—share a bathroom with a bath and shower. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer for proper cooking, and there's a utility room with a washing machine. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and heating are all included, so you arrive to a ready home. An enclosed garden with patio and barbecue sits outside, and there's private parking on site.

Being on ground floor throughout, with just one step to the entrance, the layout suits families or groups wanting easy access. The location works as a base for the mountains and coast: Caernarfon and its castle are a short drive away, Llanberis and Snowdon are five miles off, and the beaches of Anglesey and the Llŷn Peninsula are within reach. A shop, garage and restaurant are a mile down the road. The cottage is non-smoking.
