The Lawley is a single-storey pod where everything unfolds on one level—you step inside to an open-plan living space with a sofa bed, kitchen, and bedroom all flowing together, then straight out through patio doors onto decking with a dining area and garden furniture. The bedroom holds a double bed, the bathroom is ensuite with a shower, and the kitchen has a combi microwave and grill for cooking. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with heating and Wi-Fi. Private parking for two cars sits on site.
The pod sits on a working farm within the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by footpaths and bridleways that lead into the countryside. Church Stretton itself is a few minutes away, and a pub is a four-minute walk down the lane. Pontesbury village (five minutes by car) has cafés and shops; Shrewsbury's historic centre lies thirty minutes further on. The garden includes space to sit outside and an electric grill for cooking alfresco. Children under 14 are not accommodated, and smoking is not permitted. Pets stay free.

What a beautiful place and walk! This is very very pretty area to be for the hike. Moderate elevation which does not kill your legs, however to the highest peak takes you out of breath a little bit! Definitely recommending to visit this place for over and over again. No tickets needed, somewhat hard to find a parking but manageable. Also we didn’t finished entire hike we got to the peak and back but people also recommend park from other side of the walk and check other half of the hike. So that what we will be doing. With the steady pace , few stops for pictures etc , to the peak it took us 1.5hr walk one way. So it is a bit of a walk if you want to spend all afternoon for this.

Great views 👍🏻 and also from the farm with highland cow you can buy some delicious meat . Look for Blackhurst highland beef 🙂

Awesome for a midnight walk in the snow. Still great on a beautiful day. Great views all around. Slightly strenuous so you still get the feeling of achieving something.

Superb gentle ridge walk surrounded by agricultural land. Wonderful views over surrounding countryside. Best tackled from the north where easier parking though a space is not guaranteed. Last bit is steeper though still doable by inexperienced walkers.can be converted to a circular walk by turning right at the southern end.
