Stiperstones Lodge

Stiperstones Lodge suits couples and small groups wanting seclusion on a working farm in the Shropshire Hills. The entire lodge is yours alone—two bedrooms (one double, one sofa bed in the living space), a shower room, and an open-plan kitchen and dining area. Everything on ground level, with doors opening to a decked area and garden seating. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; the kitchen has what you need to cook proper meals. Outside is a private hot tub for four and parking for two cars.

The glamping site sits within easy reach of serious walking country—the Long Mynd and surrounding hills have footpaths and bridleways threading through woodland and open moorland. Mountain biking trails are nearby too. A pub is a four-minute walk away. Pontesbury village, five minutes by car, has cafés, shops and restaurants. Shrewsbury, 30 minutes away, holds medieval streets, two castles and independent dining. This is somewhere to come for outdoor days followed by quiet evenings in the hot tub, not a family holiday spot—the lodge is for adults and children aged 14 and over only. Smoking is not permitted inside.
