Each handcrafted retreat features a stylish interior with kitchen corner, breakfast bar and ensuite shower room – plus cosy touches like underfloor heating and a welcome hamper of local produce. Just spent a lovely couple of days at Little Orchard Retreats, and there is nothing I can fault. Great communication and customer service before and during our stay. The little extras left in the Shepherds hut for our arrival were a lovely surprise and very much appreciated. The huts themselves are fab - very private, nicely decorated, comfortable, and more spacious than I imagined with everything you need for a short stay. If you want a sunny area there are 2, soon to be 3 huts in lovely sunny spots and the Woodland is amazing if you prefer a more shaded area. The BBQ and fire pit provided came in very handy. I would definitely recommend a stay here and will hopefully visit again in the future.

I booked a shepherd hut for 3 nights over Easter and we loved this place! Car park is gated, spacious and secure, it’s a short walk to the hut and very child friendly (I have twin 6 year olds and I felt very safe letting them roam free). Beautiful hut with lots of luxuries including fresh fruit, snacks and luxury bathroom shampoos. The hut is fully equipped for cooking and has a mini fridge stocked. The bed was super comfy and was just what we needed, one day we visited Newby Hall and it was only 15 min drive and then ate out at a local pub 2 mins away again excellent location. Highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We stayed in the meadow hut and it was very clean and super comfy! The hut itself is in a lovely location that which made for a very calm and relaxing stay, especially with the added bonus of a wood fired hot tub. The hosts were warm, welcoming and attentive, responding quickly to any queries and ensuring we had everything we needed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The retreat is also a short drive from local amenities, which was handy.
