About Acorn Lodge Harrogate

Acorn Lodge occupies a townhouse on Studley Road, a quiet cul-de-sac in the middle of Harrogate, offered as a whole-house rental rather than individual rooms. Seven bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom, sleep up to 13 guests, making it suited to family gatherings, groups of friends or business travellers wanting to stay together under one roof.

The house has a lounge with a log burner, a large dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, giving guests the flexibility to cook for themselves or cater a group occasion, alongside outdoor seating for warmer evenings. Free parking is available on the drive, and direct bookings come with a welcome hamper and a digital guidebook of local recommendations.

Its position is a five-minute walk from Harrogate town centre, Bettys and the Turkish Baths, while the cul-de-sac setting keeps it quiet at night, making Acorn Lodge a practical alternative to booking multiple hotel rooms for a group.

I brought a group of 10 ladies to Yorkshire for a week in June, and we had the privilege of staying at Acorn Lodge. Karen was an incredibly gracious hostess. She went above and beyond in every way. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals at home, and Karen provided a generous welcome hamper full of delicious provisions. She takes pride in her hometown as well as her lovely home and made us feel so welcome. The house is spacious, comfortable and perfectly located on a charming, quiet street that is an easy walk to all the lovely shops, restaurants and gardens in Harrogate. I would highly recommend Harrogate as a base in Yorkshire, and I would also highly recommend Acorn Lodge to anyone traveling to Harrogate.

We have had a lovely time staying here. Kitchen fully equipped, able to cook easily for all 12 of us. Beds comfy, slept brilliantly. Highly recommended. Karen the owner could not have been more helpful, fab welcome hamper too.

This has to be one of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in, The owners were extremely friendly and informative, right down to giving a detailed history of the house! The bedrooms were immaculately tidy, the beds themselves are near perfect, not too hard and not too soft, exactly what you need for an excellent night's sleep, the bathroom was brilliant, fully equipped, including a spa bath! ( this is unusual in a B&B of this size). Breakfast is a delight, full English breakfast that is cooked to order and takes into account any dietary requirements that you may have. They have an extensive range of gluten free options from toast to cereal and fruit which can all be washed down with a smooth fresh orange juice or a large pot of tea or a cafetiere of fresh coffee. Outside there is free parking on the road from 6pm to 9am this can be extended to 12pm midday by speaking to the owners. Overall, this B&B is a must if you are staying in Harrogate.

A lovely warm welcome awaits you at this delightful guest house. Acorn Lodge is in an ideal location tucked just out of the hustle and bustle but a few minutes stroll to the very heart of all the action. Phil was attentive and on hand for advice about what to get up to, where to eat etc but was in no way intrusive. We enjoyed a comfortable, well decorated bedroom with a great shower and breakfast was delicious. Thank you for a lovely weekend away :-)
