About Racquety Farm
Tucked into orchard, meadow and woodland just a short stroll from Hay-on-Wye, Racquety Farm offers a handful of comfortably furnished geodomes that feel genuinely remote yet remain wonderfully convenient. Each dome comes with wooden pallet beds, air mattresses, bedding and a woodburning stove, plus there are campfires for evening cooking under the stars. The facilities earn consistent praise—luxurious hot showers with toiletries provided, a fridge-freezer, charging points and cedar composting loos—while the pitches themselves feel spacious and beautifully private.
The setting is peaceful and wildlife-rich, with spectacular views across the Powys hills, and staff get warm mentions for their welcoming, helpful approach. It's a rare combination: proper wild-camping atmosphere with thoughtful comforts close at hand, and the literary town on your doorstep for browsing second-hand bookshops whenever civilisation calls.

What visitors say
Great campsite with all amenities. It's on an organic farm. Excellent clean facilities with large shower rooms. No EHU. The studio next door offers yoga sessions most days for those who fancy it. Just a short walk from Hay on Wye town centre, and runs along the Wye Valley Way.

A wonderfully quirky campsite with everything very well thought out. Fantastic outdoor showers and very clean compost toilets. A quiet and perfect location to stay at while walking the Offa's Dyke Path.

I’ve stayed here twice. The campsite was well organized with the pitch numbers. The toilets and showers were extremely clean. The owners were really friendly. It’s an ideal location to explore Hay-on-Wye (5 min walk) and next a start / finish point of the Offa’s Dyke Path.

A great site, the pitches are generous, plenty big enough for a camper and a large drive away awning. The recycling, toilet and shower facilities are excellent. Will definitely be visiting again.
