What visitors say
My first visit to Lincoln Cathedral to watch the peregrine falcons was simply breathtaking. The architecture is mind blowing. The atmosphere is tranquil and the grounds are beautiful with patches of wildflowers. The only down point was the bins were overflowing but other than that it was spectacular. There is also numerous birds living around the cathedral, along with the peregrine falcons who have made their home their. I am looking forward to making a return visit to fully explore inside Lincoln Cathedral.

We spent the day exploring this beautiful historic cathedral, which is steeped in culture, history and fascinating stories. We took the floor tour and were amazed by the stunning architecture and intricate details throughout. The surrounding grounds were just as impressive, and we could easily have spent another full day wandering the magnificent scenery and discovering even more. A truly memorable visit and one we would highly recommend to anyone visiting Lincoln.

Amazing cathedral and we have visited a lot in England and Europe but this was special. The scale is impressive but so is the art work and history, layers integrated with England general history. We did the group floor tour (with Alan) which is complimentary with the ticket entry. It was well worth taking the time, informative and personal. I wish we’d had more time in Lincoln to come back to absorb another layer, so much to take in. We came back for the choral service, it was also very welcoming irrespective of spiritual beliefs, just sharing their community and practices. Well done team !
