Club-run touring site at Little Tarrington, about eight miles from Hereford

About Camping and Caravanning Club Site Hereford

This Camping and Caravanning Club site occupies quiet countryside at Little Tarrington, roughly eight miles east of Hereford on the Ledbury road. Pitches are generously spaced among trees and hedgerows rather than regimented in rows, with grass and hardstanding options available (including super-service pitches), all backed by the well-maintained facilities typical of club sites. There's a small shop for basics, an on-site café, and electric vehicle charging points, though you won't find the swimming pools or entertainment of larger commercial parks—this is very much a peaceful, well-run touring base.

The rural setting suits walkers and cyclists, with the Herefordshire Trail passing nearby and quiet lanes threading through the surrounding orchards. Hereford cathedral and city centre are an easy drive, and the site works equally well as a stopover for those touring between the Cotswolds, Wye Valley and Welsh Marches. Non-members are usually welcome for a small supplement, though booking ahead through summer is wise.

Stayed here recently in our VW T5 as part of EDA – Everyday Adventures and honestly came away impressed. The site was extremely clean and well maintained throughout. The shower and toilet facilities were modern and spotless every time we used them, which makes a massive difference when camping with family. Really liked the practical setup too — good waste disposal area, proper chemical toilet disposal point, dog wash station and even EV charging bays which you don’t always see on campsites. The arrival/check-in area was straightforward and welcoming, and the whole site felt organised, peaceful and relaxed. A peaceful and tranquil environment with a beautiful fishing lake stocked full of good-sized carp. Perfect if you enjoy a quieter campsite with a fishing setup close by. There’s also a playing field for the children, although no dedicated park area. The coffee shop and bar were a really nice touch too, with traditional games like cards and dominos available which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Food and drinks were very reasonably priced. Fishing currently costs £9 per day with an additional £2 per rod. A special mention to owners ‘Andrew’ and ‘Theresa’, along with staff members ‘Willie ‘and ‘Nicky’, who were all extremely welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. That personal touch really makes a difference. Ideal for camper vans, caravans and families wanting a clean, well looked after and relaxing base to stay. We are definitely returning- so much we have booked already. 👍 James & Jamie — EDA | Everyday Adventures

Lovely, peaceful, well maintained caravan site with a fishing lake and lots of open space. There is a train line behind the site but trains do not run overnight and we didn’t find the sound of the trains a problem. Easy to get to when towing. Site is very clean with everything you would expect from a C&C site. Very friendly, helpful team. Lovely cafe on site with weekend bar. We just missed a local pub you could walk to and a decent size local shop. Good location for access to Ledbury and Hereford, with bus stops a few minutes walk from the site. We will return.

My favourite touring site. Always a genuine warm welcome, great new addition of the cafe/bar. Lovely fishing lake and woodland dog walk. Very clean. With good sized pitches. We’ve just had a lovely few days and have booked again for the summer.

Just about our favourite site of the club. All the wardens are lovely and helpful and do whatever it takes. The café/bar is a great addition and the occasional evening functions are not to be missed. Most people come for the fishing which is pretty good.
