About Harewood End Inn

Herefordshire's countryside around Hereford is quiet, green and made for slow exploring, and Harewood End Inn gives visitors a comfortable base right in the middle of it. This small hotel has just five rooms, each well-equipped, so the atmosphere stays personal rather than corporate, and the staff are known for being attentive and welcoming to both guests and their dogs.

Food is a strong point here, with a restaurant kitchen that caters to gluten-free diets and turns out a homemade sticky toffee pudding that regulars come back for. There's a cosy bar for an evening drink and a beer garden for warmer days, plus breakfast, a snack bar, free WiFi and drinks brought to the room. The inn also handles weddings and has facilities such as a lift, luggage storage, laundry service, porter service and childcare, making it practical for a range of stays.

Free on-site parking makes it an easy stop for anyone touring Herefordshire's attractions by car, with the inn itself acting as a relaxed base to return to after a day out.

We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay again. The staff couldn’t do enough for us — everyone was so kind, welcoming and pleasant throughout our visit. We arrived quite late, and they kindly waited before closing the kitchen so we could still enjoy a hot dinner, which was really appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, and the hotel was very clean throughout. The rooms and beds were extremely comfortable and had everything you could need. The hotel also has a beautiful garden and is in a very handy location for the A49. My son is autistic and can be quite tricky with food, but Grace and Nikki went out of their way to make sure he had something special that he would enjoy, which meant so much to us. Their kindness and understanding really made our stay extra special. Overall, a lovely experience and highly recommended

Very hot stay - June temperature record.... HOWEVER the blind was a good heat insulator; Room simple but very nice - everything you need including soap / shampoo / etc and tea/ coffee. Really good high-quality breakfast and friendly welcome. Thank you

Had a lovely 2 night midweek stay at Harewood Friendly staff and very polite and eager to assist Had breakfast 2 mornings and 1 evening meal. Could have had a full breakfast but eating later so opted for cereal & toast Caesar Salad off the specials board was very nice Room was large and en-suite with a comfy double bed (No 5) The main road out front being the direct route from Ross to Hereford was really busy, mostly articulated lorries so noisy It did get quieter later in the evening and tbh I slept through it despite having both windows open as it was very hot overnight Ear plugs are provided on the tea/coffee tray 🙂 I would stay again if the opportunity arises
