About Woodland Tipi and Yurt Holidays
Set in 17 acres of private woodland on the edge of the Wye Valley AONB, this family-run glamping site offers a proper escape into nature. You'll stay in traditional Mongolian yurts or spacious bell tents tucked among the trees, with birdsong and rustling leaves as your soundtrack. The site keeps things peaceful by not allowing pets, making it particularly appealing for families wanting a tranquil woodland retreat.
Facilities cover the essentials – hot showers, flushing loos, and drinking water – though there's no WiFi, which rather suits the back-to-nature vibe. Little Dewchurch village is nearby, while Hereford and the walking trails of the Wye Valley are both within easy reach for day trips. It's the sort of place where disconnecting feels like the point.

What visitors say
Myself and my friends had the most relaxing and wholesome couple of days at the yurts! The site exceeded our expectations, it was cosy, the showers were clean and were especially fond of the swings. The owner was lovely and helpful, and the wine was fantastic. It was the perfect escape from our traumatising jobs and we definitely want to return! It was perfect, no notes 🤌🏻

This is a beautiful, relaxing place to stay with everything you need. We hired two units between 10 people and had a great and cozy time despite the odd bit of wet weather. Who would've thought you could have a roll top bath in the woods, or a wood fired hot tub, or a pizza oven!! Mark and Anabel are the perfect hosts. Mark met us at the car park and ferried all our kit to the yurts in a trailer which was brill. The kitchens have everything you need and the fire pits are well placed under tree cover so you can stay dry in the lighter rain. There are also very relaxing seating areas under cover.I cannot recommend this place highly enough, get yourselves to Hereford. Oh, and the delicious sparkling wine produced by Mark and Anabel is worth every penny.

What an amazing site! We booked the Oak yurt, which was painted by Mongolians. It's truly beautiful. I actually slept out on the hammock though! The shower room was spotless, as were the toilets & kitchen. More than enough supplies, to not have to worry about bringing your own. We only lef tthe site once to go for a meal & came straight back. Mark was a great host, showed us around the site, let us know how to purcahse homemade items etc. I felt so relaxed here & cannot wait to visit again, for lobger next time!
