About The Elms Campsite (Certificated Site)

The Elms is a certificated campsite in Herefordshire, a designation that limits it to five pitches and restricts stays to members of a recognised camping club. This makes it a quieter alternative to standard commercial sites, though you will need membership to book.

The site has showers on hand. With only a handful of pitches, the feel is more intimate than larger operations, though facilities beyond showers are not listed. Ledbury is a market town with pubs and shops within easy reach.

What a wonderful campsite. Lovely forest walk for the dog. A nice walk into town. Very friendly helpful owner. Can't fault it. Good value for money.

It's a nice little site, close to Ledbury (walking distance), and apart from sheep (I believe it's a farm), it is pretty quiet. It is close to the main road, and Ledbury does has some loud exhaust bikers going through it, but it's occasional, and you soon forget the road noise. Unfortunately, it drops a star as it's a fairly slopey field, and we struggled a bit getting the caravan level. (Although part of it might be our inexperience.) Only 1 bathroom each for both genders, but plenty of bushes if you don't confirm to male or female. Grey and black waste go into the same drainage, next to the bins. (These are also nicely hidden from view when on the field, so no unsightly mess to spoil said view) Next time we're looking visit Ledbury would be more than happy to book them again.

First time for us and went with friends that have been numerous times small site. Disappointed that only one toilet for men and women and unless you have mastered the art of holding the door closed while pulling up your knickers avoid no showers or kitchen area and was told certain electrical appliances can't be used because it blows the site electric too much of a draw even though select people were using it not worth £25 a night other sites in the area offer much more for less
