Herefordshire, County of

Brown Snout works well for couples seeking a quiet base, or anyone travelling with a dog—pets stay without extra cost. The cottage is a converted farm building on a 24-acre working orchard that produces cider for London venues, positioned just outside Ledbury on the edge of the Malvern Hills.
Everything is on the ground floor: a living room with Freeview TV and DVD player, a separate dining room, a kitchen with electric cooker and microwave, and a bedroom with a double bed. The ensuite has a cubicle shower. An enclosed garden provides a private outdoor space. Wi-Fi, electricity and bed linen are included; gas heating keeps it warm year-round. There is parking for two cars on site, and no smoking inside.
Ledbury itself is a half-mile walk away—a market town with timber-framed buildings, cobbled streets and summer hanging baskets, plus pubs, restaurants and shops. Nearby attractions include Eastnor Castle with its deer park, The International Centre for Birds of Prey at Newent, and Hellens Manor. The Malvern Hills offer walking and views across three counties.
