Hereford Cathedral, the Mappa Mundi, independent shops and restaurants across the city—all sit within 3 miles of Box Tree Barn. The countryside immediately surrounding this converted barn is equally worth exploring on foot, with the Wye Valley and market towns like Ledbury nearby for day trips. The barn itself occupies quiet grounds in rural Herefordshire, set close to Hampton Bishop.

Two bedrooms and one bathroom sleep up to four guests in a single-storey open plan ground floor and first-floor bedrooms. Downstairs, a combined living and dining space has a woodburner, Smart TV and bi-fold doors opening onto a private patio. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave. Upstairs, one bedroom contains a zip-and-link super king bed (or two singles on request) and the other has twin single beds; both have Smart TVs. The bathroom is a walk-in shower room with heated towel rail. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included, as is initial fuel for the woodburner. An electric car charging point is available at cost. Private parking accommodates two cars. The property does not permit smoking, and is not suitable for children under 7 years old. Note that access involves steep spiral stairs.
