Herefordshire's rolling landscape draws people seeking space and quiet, and Cider Mill sits on working farmland with views across the countryside. The property sleeps six across three bedrooms—one with an ensuite on the ground floor, two upstairs served by a bathroom—with two bathrooms in total. You get the whole place to yourself, along with parking for two cars immediately by the house and four more spaces on the grounds.
The ground floor holds an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area where you can prepare meals properly (the kitchen has a full cooker, dishwasher and washing machine), then eat and relax in the same space. Bedrooms are fitted with zip-and-link beds that split into singles if needed. The garden includes a patio with furniture and a hot tub for six. Electricity, wi-fi, heating via air source heat pump with underfloor heating in the main living areas, bed linen and towels are all included.
From here you can reach Hereford, Hay-on-Wye, Ross-on-Wye and the Monmouth area for food and shopping. Walking options range from 200 acres of common land nearby to steeper hills like The Skirrid and Symonds Yat. Skenfrith and Goodrich castles are within reach for day trips. The Wye offers canoeing in season. A pub sits 2 miles away. Please note: the property is non-smoking.

I attended with my partner as we were trading at the Golden Valley country fair on the Saturday, we have been three years now. Although it rained a lot and very windy the staff were very helpful and friendly. On the main field there was the tug of war event, all teams were very competitive and good to watch. Also reanactments, gundogs, hunt dogs and in fact lots to see for the whole family.

A really nice place for relaxed dining. We were a party of 11 and were all staying on the adjoing campsite. We had a few dogs with us and they were made welcome. There was a separate area where there were no dogs so if you're not a dog lover you can still dine without dogs around. Mist of us gad one of the pies on the menu and these were delicious and reasonably priced. We'll worth a visit.

Lunchtime bliss. Thought we would just get something simple as per the Menu on the website. However, the real menu is very varied. The chef dealt with our Gluten allergies and provided a first rate pair of Fish dishes. There were 3 gluten free deserts. Outstanding service from all staff. Well done 😀
