Book in at this family-friendly site and you'll be staying in a three-acre field where guest numbers are capped to make sure everyone has plenty of space to pitch up and relax. While this place feels very rural, it's actually only a 15-minute drive to the centre of Hereford – head there by day to explore the historic city centre or ask on site about the subsidised taxi service for an evening out.

Just had a two night stay here over the bank holiday weekend. We were a family of 5, 3 adults and 2 children (6 & 3). We all really enjoyed our stay at Primrose. Paul & Keith were both fantastic hosts. We all loved to see the animals every morning. There was good facilities for what you need for a couple of nights. Portaloos, shower, fridge, freezer, phone charging point and sink with hot water. You can also hire a fire pit which was great. The field was big enough that you didn't feel like it was over crowded. We especially loved the added bonus of things to do for the kids (and adults) swing ball, badminton and tough of war in the modding of the field. Lovely family friendly vibe and our children made some friends whilst there which they already miss so much! Short drive to Hereford town, walk in the woods and paddle in the river. Would come back again.

This was our first time camping and the experience was amazing. We were greeted upon entry and the site is lovely and clean. Paul was on holiday this week but his brother Keith was covering for him. Keith was so friendly and helpful. Any questions they are there to help. The farm tour was lovely in the morning, my kids loved it. They are a genuine family run business and I hope they know what they offer is so generous especially for families struggling in these hard times. The toilets, shower, washing sink and fridge freezer are excellent and all clean. There’s normally less then 25 tents on site and feels safe and secure for kids to run around. I would like to thank them all for their hard work in the time we were there. We will hopefully be back before the end of summer.

Our first time on a no electric site and I couldn't fault our stay. The kids had the best time and we got to relax knowing they were safe exploring. They loved the animal tour and the games left on the field. 10/10 for cleanliness, I usually dread the toilets on a camping trip but they were spotless. Owners were away but his brother did a great job and very helpful and friendly. Loads of day trips you can do in areas near by. Nice to be on a site that goes quiet after a certain time. Fridge and freezer was a great help in this heat. Will definitely be back in the future and telling friends. 10/10

Amazing weekend away with our three sons 17, 13 and 11 years. We booked very last minute and were a bit sceptical when we found this place. However what a fantastic find! There’s a huge field with communal games for the children and lots of space to play football etc. The toilet facilities (which I was dreading!) were always spotless and cleaned very regularly as was the shower. We all enjoyed feeding and the animals and the chicken eggs were delicious! We met the owner’s brother and his wife who were the perfect hosts and were extremely helpful. We used this site as a base for canoeing and visiting Puzzle-wood and wished we could have stayed for longer! Brilliant site, very relaxed and friendly- could not fault anything!
