Great place very close to the town, club house was shut when we attended as there was private functions going on over the weekend, right by the river very peaceful and chilled weekend friendly staff would definitely go back

Went for a private function this evening, the rooms we used upstairs were lovely, lots of tables and chairs for the amount of guests that were there. Food was hot pork rolls and chips which was lovely and tasty and suitable for the age ranges that attended, music that was playing was 1980s ish generic.

From the moment we arrived at Hereford Rowing Club, we felt genuinely welcomed. The check-in was simple and relaxed – we were greeted kindly and then left to enjoy our stay in peace, which was exactly what we were looking for. We pitched our tent alongside the rugby field, right next to the river – an absolutely ideal spot as we were canoeing during our trip. The location couldn't be better: peaceful, scenic, and just a short walk into the centre of Hereford. The town itself is full of charm, with plenty of great pubs, friendly locals, and lovely little shops to explore. One of the highlights was breakfast at the rowing club – a hearty buffet spread that reminded us of a Premier Inn breakfast, with plenty of choice and generous portions to fuel the day. All in all, this was a fantastic weekend getaway, and I’ll definitely be coming back for another stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for relaxed riverside camping with great access to both nature and town life!
