Cider Press is a converted farm building on the Whitewells Farm estate near Malvern, designed entirely on one level. The property sleeps two in a kingsize bedroom and comes with a sitting room, kitchen and bathroom all built to a standard where you won't need to think about what's missing. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are covered, the heating runs on biomass, and there's parking for one car on site. One well-behaved pet stays free.

The living room has a vaulted ceiling and opens onto a patio with views across the gardens toward the Herefordshire countryside beyond. The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking, with an electric oven and hob, a fridge-freezer and breakfast space. The bathroom has a bath with shower over it. Outside, there's a barbecue and a bike store. A pub lies within a mile. The barn conversion dates from 1978 when these were among Herefordshire's first holiday cottages of their kind, and original beams and half-cruck trusses run through the building.

This is accessible territory for exploring—Malvern, Ledbury, Bromyard, Worcester and Hereford are all within easy reach, and the Malvern Hills rise nearby for walking. The area holds medieval castles, National Trust properties, and the Black and White Trail for touring. No smoking in the property.

It is like stepping into Holliwood version of Walt Disney's Snowwhite. Except here Snowhite is blond and her name is Alice. Haven't met prince Charming yet. And the dwarfs sleep during the day and only come out at night, when everybody is asleep. So they don't disturb the guests. It is the most charming, dream like place, one can only immagine. I want to stay here forever.

My friends and I stayed here for two nights in February 2026 and had a wonderful time. The photographs do not prepare you for quite how charming the cottages are or how beautiful the surroundings are. We stayed in the Old Hop Kiln , which is a three bedroom property. It is charming, with original features but also with every modern convenience. There was plenty of seating for the six of us. The bedrooms were beautifully presented as well and have convenient spaces for storage.

We stayed there last June, a fabulous peaceful place to stay, the hosts were wonderful. I would highly recommend it, a hidden gem. Duck pond cottage was fabulous. The cottage was spotless, modern, cosy and private. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

We stayed here during December along with a little dog Scamp. We chose Duck pond cottage which was an excellent choice, good parking, well kitted out and so peaceful too. The lounge/ kitchen area was so roomy and relaxing. The bedroom and bathroom quiet and we slept like babies in the country air. Alison and Simon our hosts were extremely helpful, very knowledgeable about the area and places to visit and eat, a special hello to Jack who is the most laid back dog ever. We didn't have any issues during our stay but we got the feeling that nothing was too much trouble if we needed anything. Scamp thoroughly loved the walks around the woods and saying hello to the turkeys too. I'd recommend this to couples, families or for special events and multiple cottage bookings. You wouldn't regret staying in any of the beautiful cottages, we had a look in another couple and they looked superb throughout. A big hello to Alison and Simon along with their family and the dogs, thank you for a lovely stay. Andrew Alison and Scamp.
