Walking in, you find yourself in a ground-floor living space where exposed beams and original stonework remind you this was once a working watermill. The layout spreads across two storeys: downstairs holds the living room with a wood-burning stove, a kitchen with breakfast bar and full equipment for cooking, utility facilities including washer and dryer, and two bedrooms (one double, one twin) served by a shower room and separate toilet. Upstairs, two more bedrooms—another double and a second twin—share a bathroom with bath and shower.
The Mill House sleeps eight across these four rooms and comes with everything you'd expect: bed linen, electricity, heating and Wi-Fi all included. Outside, the grounds wrap around a sloping lawn and gravelled terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue, overlooking the owner's wider property with views across a pond where ducks and geese swim among sheep and open countryside. Parking is on site and one small dog is welcome (they must stay on a lead due to the livestock nearby). Smoking is not permitted indoors.
Located near Ross-on-Wye with the Forest of Dean five miles away and Gloucester twelve, the area offers walking, cycling, fishing and golf. Ledbury, Monmouth, the Malverns and Hereford cathedral lie within reasonable driving distance. A pub and shops are a mile away. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 09:30.
