Unexpected and weird fun was had at this animal museum. Containing everything from insects, mammals, reptiles, fish, creepy crawlies and anything else this museum was fascinating. No queue as instant entry but check the website for opening times and days too as not the usual every day or time either. Staff greet you on entry and give you a quick run down of house rules that includes no eating and drinking on premises. There’s an activity table with coloured pencils and sheet to keep busy. Many items to see and clearly labelled too so you know what you’re looking at.

Fascinating collection of skeletons, microscope slides, taxidermies, insects, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a great time but it was a bit crowded due to the small space, so maybe go when it's quieter.

A small, free, 'classical' museum. Collection is bones and fossils, some taxidermy behind glass and in jars. Some descrtions available. Visited for a short break in the day and really was perfect for me. Not for all, especially comparing g to more modern, interactive exhibitions.
