The site is ideal location for us too pitch and visit our family in London....we asked too be near park for visiting grandchildren and families block was near by.....we were shown too the spot...hubby tried too secure the awning and was struggling too hit the pegs into hard standing .it was like concrete....families were clean if a little dated... Apart from pitching up the staff didn't engage in conversation or when passing wave or say hi..which is very unusual on c&c sites . We arranged for son too drive his car too put pitch so he could swap over car seats for kids etc.vit that changed for whatever reason and he had too walk too us and then transfer later ?? All in all it's a nice site if we need too will maybe use again. For a couple of nites

Only stayed one night off grid £22 to give van its first outing of the year and very impressed, so will return and recommend. Flat site. Plenty of facilities, very clean, free showers. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lots of places for EH or off grid. Plenty of spacing between guests. Approx 20min walk into historic Hertford town which is gorgeous, down hill there, UP hill back, or taxi. Two train stations into London. Lovely river walks. If you have a particular direction you want to face, tell them on booking and they do best to accommodate.

Great place for a weekend away with the grandchildren. They loved the playpark, the open areas for ball games and the roads were safe for a supervised bike ride. Lots of room between pitches that were nice and level.

Just stopped over for one night to empty and fill on route. Large site with clean facilities. We had a level handstanding pitch with EHU. Good motorhome service point, plenty of room for big vans if the lazy lot didn't park cars in there while they shower!!
