Our first trip as campervan owners we had a way to come 3 hours and Mike let us arrive later than 7pm so never meet him but phoned him when we got there and he gave us details of our pitch and instructions on how to pay. Site is tiered and was a bit tight and hilly for our old bus with no power steering lol but location was great nice and quiet electric hook up and a water tap near by. As we were there for weekend we had shower onboard etc so never used facilities to comment apart from the missus using the loo and said there was no way to dry her hands. Steep hill down to Whitby but it was only 10 minute walk to centre and as a blind person manage quite well. It was £35 per night and as newbies we were happy with that nothing else to compare it with would have liked to meet mike but maybe when we come next time as would definitely come back. thank you

Just came back from camping here for 2 days.What a lovely little campsite.Very quiet and clean site with excellent toilets and hot showers. Walking distance to Whitby Abbey and the marina and beach.Definately would go back to stay here.Little gem 👏👏

Fantastic location, more catered for motorhomes than camping as very expensive at 35 pound for a patch of grass, but motorhomes 35 pound with electric 🤔 The town 10 min walk and the Abbey about 5 so can’t fault the location It’s very clean and nice shower wet rooms which are free (no tokens) Another plus is No Dogs , so it’s quiet. A bit strict on where they put you with not much thought to your privacy or proximity. But I was next to a lovely couple on way back upto Scotland 🏴. If the camping price lower you’d get a lot more camping but maybe you prefer motorhome? Not the warmest welcome I’ve experienced but not the worst . No way of drying hands so toilet paper used for that .

Great campsite in Whitby, very close to the town & very peaceful location. Toilets & showers were nipping clean also. We will definitely be returning.
