Crawshaw Cottage works well for families after space and flexibility, or couples wanting a whole property to themselves. The cottage is a contemporary build on Buxton's edge, near Harpur Hill, where fields reach almost to the door. Three bedrooms sleep up to six: a king with ensuite upstairs, two twins that can link into a super-king, and a bunk room with a double below and single above. Two bathrooms means less negotiation over showers.

Downstairs flows between kitchen, dining and living areas, with patio doors opening onto a lawned garden you can fence-check without leaving the house. The kitchen handles proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine. Ground-floor toilet spares the stairs at night. Essentials like heating, linen, towels and wifi are sorted. One car parks on the drive; bikes fit in the garage. The enclosed garden has furniture; a travel cot, highchair and stairgate are on hand if needed. One well-behaved pet stays free. No smoking indoors. Redferns Farm Shop lies nearby, and Buxton's pubs and walking trails are within reach.
