The Woodland Cottage

The Woodland Cottage is a converted stone building in New Mills where you arrive into an open-plan living area and kitchen. The lounge has sofas facing an exposed stone wall; the kitchen sits alongside with a wooden breakfast bar, oven, hob and the other essentials for self-catering. A staircase leads to a spacious double bedroom with en-suite shower and heated towel rail. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with heating, Wi-Fi and a television. One dog is welcome, though there is no garden and you'll need to park on-road nearby.

New Mills sits at the edge of the High Peak, within a mile of the coast, and offers independent shops, cafés, galleries and pubs. The town has a marina and a local brewery; canal walks and Peak District routes are within reach for those who want to hike or simply walk local natural spots. The cottage dates from the 1850s and retains period character in its stone construction. The property is not suitable for young children. Smoking is not permitted.
