Staff are friendly and I really really recommend getting an omnipass! It's £12 a month so of you go to two films a month you make your money back, any extras are basically free! There's no maximum films you can watch, you just can't watch the same film twice. The random films that they show and special previews are great fun! Important to note that if the film says 3D, there is an extra price for the 3D glasses, so be aware and bring your own if you have them. There should really be a pop up on the app when you book to say that 3d glasses are required to bring/ purchase. The app could do with some fixing as none of my orders come through so I either have to save it to wallet when I purchase or ask at the desk if they can find my booking on their computer. Popcorn is a bit spenny at the same price as a ticket, but I guess you've got to make money on it. + Nice that the old Empire cinema didn't just become another empty building!

We visited on Thursday 11 June to watch Disclosure Day. It was one of the first days of screening and we watched the 3.50 performance on Screen 3. Free parking just yards away, a welcoming foyer and a smile from a gentleman as he validated our tickets. All done with no fuss and treating us as guests! We chose seats J11 & J12, full recliners and settled in, great movie, good sound system, everything was clean and in order. I laid back and watched as Spielberg worked his magic, a blockbuster clearly. We drove home but found I had mislaid my credit cards, I think they fell out of my pocket whilst in full recliner. Contact is by email, I wrote to the Cinema and telephoned HQ in N Ireland where a charming lady explained what were the next steps. She emailed the Manager at High Wycombe, I’d explained I’d already sent a message explaining the time, the screen and our seat numbers. I visited the next day when the cinema opened at 11.30 I met both the Manager and a Supervisor. My credit cards had been found by a member of staff cleaning Screen 3 after the performance. They had been kept secure, my emails had been read and I was expected. A stupid error on my part, professionally managed, great outcome! Thank you Glen Macfarlane

Such a let down of a cinema. The main thing it has going for it is the cheap tickets, friendly staff and free parking. Food - Asked for sweet popcorn but kept getting hits of salt and tasted very stale. Ended leaving a nearly full bag of popcorn because of this and have struggled in the past to get a refund on popcorn so didn’t want to waste time and effort. Toilets - you are a 8 screen cinema with nearly 1700 seats but only have 4 urinals and 2 cubicles and the cubicles are broken so you technically have just 4 urinals… one cubicle doesn’t lock and the other does lock but only on the outside so there is a big gap so people can see in… surely this should be fixed asap. Screens - Bought a sofa seat thinking this would be more comfortable… it wasn’t. Cushions felt like rocks and the sofas are so low to the ground so if you are over 6ft like me, you will not find this comfy unless you lay flat. Come on Omniplex, do better.

We go here a lot and apart from getting used to the new set up with the unusual not sure it’s really needed, small, kiosk as soon as you go through the doors, it’s very reasonably priced! They also accept Meerkat Rewards 2 for 1 :) There is a great variety of snacks, Pick & Mix and drinks And they brought back taking cash. Most staff are friendly, it’s clean and tidy & free parking!
