Benula Lodge sits on an estate where salmon fishing, golf and walking dominate the calendar. Inverness is minutes away by car, offering restaurants, shops and cultural attractions; further out lie Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle, Loch Ness cruises and the Moray Firth where dolphins appear. Day trips to the Isle of Skye or the Orkney Isles are feasible, as is the Strathspey Whisky Trail for those interested in distilleries.
The detached lodge has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, sleeping seven. It overlooks the river with gardens that include a barbecue area. Parking is on site. Inside, the kitchen allows you to cook properly, and essentials like electricity, heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included.
The setting suits walkers, fishing enthusiasts and larger groups wanting their own space. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The property is no-smoking throughout.
