Two couples or a family of four will find Green Hill works well as a self-contained retreat. The cottage sits on its own ground above Aird Bay in north Skye, reached by a private track, with the working kitchen separated into two spaces: an Aga for those who want it, and a modern electric cooker for everyday use. The main living area is a bright conservatory with an open fire and sight lines across the water; electricity, bed linen and towels are provided.
Upstairs are two double bedrooms and two bathrooms—a bath and a separate walk-in shower. Heating is oil-fired throughout. The enclosed garden offers privacy, and there is parking for three cars on the property.
Aird Bay itself lies just 300 yards downhill, a working harbour with a slipway and rocks suitable for fishing or launching a boat, and room for a waterside walk. The setting is quiet and rural. Smoking is not permitted inside.
