About Shulista Croft Wigwams
Set on a working croft near the shores of Loch Snizort, these cosy wooden wigwams offer a snug base for exploring Skye's dramatic landscapes. Each pod is simply fitted but comfortable, with heating and proper beds – a welcome retreat after a day tackling the island's trails or sea cliffs. The site has a rustic charm that suits its remote setting, though facilities can feel fairly basic compared to larger campsites.
What really sets Shulista apart is the setting itself: you're tucked into genuine crofting countryside with views across the loch and easy access to Skye's highlights, from the Quiraing to Neist Point. It's ideal for walkers, wildlife watchers and anyone seeking a quieter slice of the island away from the tour-bus crowds.

What visitors say
The location is idyllic, and the hosts of the cabins are very gracious and helpful. The cabin was comfortable and cosy, with a dreamy view of sheep and bunnies. Lots of great walks and sea views around. A little patch of heaven.

Absolutely one of the highlights of our trip to Scotland! The location is remote but waking up with this view was absolutely magical. During our three weeks here we stayed at five different places. This was far and away our favorite. We stayed in #4, the only one with a hot tub and it was worth every penny. Looking at pasture land and the ocean in the distance while soaking in the hot tub was unbelievably relaxing. Adam was a wonderful host and very responsive to messages. On our first night he had the hot tub ready for us with a bottle of champagne. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

It was an absolute joy to stay at Sally and Adam's wonderful little spot on Skye! We booked this one very late in the day so did not have much idea of what to expect, but were absolutely thrilled when we arrived. Sally and Adam were very amenable and did us a great favour by letting us check in around midnight due to a late ferry. Both the friendliest people you will ever meet! The Wigwam exceeded our expectations - roomy, comfy, clean and warm! Lovely to have a little picnic bench next to the Wigwam, as well as a fire pit. We bought a fire pit kit (kindling, firewood, etc) for £5 which kept us warm on a particularly windy evening. The communal kitchen and bathroom facilities were by far and away the nicest of any campsite we've stayed in before - super clean and more modern than most family kitchens! A splendid little spot - a great place for us to escape the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh. Ordinarily, we would prefer to stay in a site with a little more going on, but if you're looking for total tranquillity this definitely fits the bill. Some very nice walks from the campsite; absolutely perfect for a few days exploring a beautiful part of the island. We had an absolutely delightful time here - would visit Shulista Croft again in a heartbeat!

My partner and I have just arrived home from our stay at Shulista, and we miss it already! The location is stunning, just what we needed to get away from busy city life. It's so peaceful and tranquil and the views are amazing. We stayed in the wigwam with the hot tub, which the lovely Adam had ready for us arriving. The hot tub was easy to heat up and added an extra bit of relaxation to our holiday. The wigwam was clean and cosy, and the bed was comfy. There was loads to see locally; we had lots of nice walks and drives, but we always looked forward to getting back and jumping in the hot tub :) the loveliest final touch came on our last night when Adam knocked on the door and handed us a bottle of fizz...this was so kind and much appreciated! This was our first ever holiday together, and my partner and I have memories to last forever. An incredible place, we'll be back :)
