Inverness draws visitors for its castle, theatre, distilleries and position on the edge of the Highlands. The city centre sits within walking distance of Loch Ness boat trips and several golf courses. The apartment sleeps four across two bedrooms: one with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower, the other with two single beds. The main bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. A spacious living area contains sofas, dining table and Smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included; there is also a welcome pack on arrival.

The décor carries a subtle thistle theme throughout. No smoking is permitted inside. Check-in is after 16:00 and check-out before 10:00.

The location is a dream. Walkable to all the popular tourist locations that any traveler would need. The room however was sheer disappointment. We had old stained furniture, no air conditioning and the balcony was unusable during our stay or 3 nights. The entire reason we booked this spot was the access to the roof top river view. The photos are a lie. The furniture is very old and outdated! No AC was so rough! We couldn't leave the windows and doors open because of the access others would then have to our space. The "fresh" crosionts they advertise are pre packaged items and mediocre. We also were promised parking and they didn't have any for us. Skip this spot and book something else.

We had a wonderful stay here! The apartment was in a fabulous location and we were upgraded to a river view. The terrace was huge, a perfect place to sit outside and admire the view. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well serviced and, as we booked through their website, even came with a welcome basket of provisions for the next morning. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Inverness - I can’t imagine being able to find any place better to stay!

Highland Apartments by Mansley was, without exaggeration, the best stay of our trip. We knew going in that we were booking more of an apartment-style accommodation, but this place completely exceeded expectations in almost every way. Yes, it’s slightly pricier than a standard budget hotel, but honestly not by much, and the value you get for that extra money is incredible. The apartment itself was spacious, modern, and genuinely comfortable to live in for a few days rather than just sleep in. The standout feature was the view. We stayed on the first floor and had a massive balcony overlooking the city, and it was absolutely spectacular. Seriously, waking up and sitting outside with that view alone made the stay worth it. Check-in was also incredibly easy and modern, all handled through the app and email instructions without any hassle. Inside, there was a full kitchen, a comfortable living area, a massive bedroom with a large bed, and a bathroom that actually felt luxurious after some of the tighter hotel bathrooms we experienced elsewhere on the trip. The bathroom included a full bath/shower setup, full soaps and toiletries, and even a heated towel rack. There’s no AC, which again is common in Europe, but the provided fans did a great job keeping the apartment comfortable. The TV even had streaming services already logged in, which was a really nice touch after long days exploring. The location is another huge selling point. You’re right in the city center, with restaurants and attractions all around you. Coyote Burger is literally downstairs and was excellent, and major attractions like Edinburgh Castle are only about a five-minute walk away. The train station is also less than 10 minutes away on foot, making it incredibly convenient without sacrificing atmosphere. Overall, this was one of those rare places that genuinely makes your trip better just by staying there. Spacious, comfortable, beautiful, and perfectly located. I would absolutely stay here again without hesitation.

This is a great location and excellent view of the river. The hot water in our apartment was lacking. We had four people in a two bedroom apartment and had o space out showing 45-60 minutes apart. Other than that, this is a great apartment.

Some reviews mention there can be disruptive noise from the downstairs bar.
