About Pentahotel Inverness
Inverness makes a practical base for exploring the Highlands, and Pentahotel Inverness puts guests right in the middle of it, on Academy Street just a short walk from the town's bus and train stations. Culloden Battlefield is also within easy reach for those wanting to venture further out.
The hotel has 90 rooms that are clean, spacious and fitted with modern amenities, giving guests a comfortable base after a day of sightseeing. A buffet breakfast is served each morning with gluten-free options available, and there's a restaurant and bar on site along with a snack bar for something lighter. Guests can also make use of the spa and sauna, or take advantage of free on-site parking and laundry service. The hotel welcomes pets and hosts weddings, and drinks can be brought straight to the room.
Staff are generally friendly and helpful, though service has occasionally been described as inattentive. With pubs, restaurants and entertainment nearby, and the town centre on the doorstep, it's a straightforward, well-placed option for visiting Inverness.
What guests say
Great stay for 2 nights. Room had a decent size with a decent window. Centrally located. Bathrooms were clean. They don’t have a refrigerator in the room so storing any leftovers won’t be possible. The service was mediocre, we noticed that the same person who checked us in also seem to be the barista making an order for another customer, while cleaning and maintaining the bar. One of the nights we had a query that we wanted to clarify with the reception however we were not tended to for 5-10 mins since the person was busy with another customer who had ordered drinks. 4/5 just for the location and cleanliness of the place. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotel and facilities were excellent. Brilliant location in centre of Inverness - 2 minutes from bus station, 3 minutes from train station. Staff were fantastic, very friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem. Room was perfect, everything was very clean and we slept well. Breakfast was self service, really nice setup with everything you could want to eat, great choice available from continental to cooked breakfast. Finished off with a nice latte from their coffee machine to take away with me while I finished packing. Asked at reception and they very kindly held onto our suitcases for the day so we were hands free for more shopping before catching the bus at 4pm. We would definitely stay here again.

A great value stay for the night. The room was clean and bathroom very well kept. The room felt quite new and had all the usual amenities; Hairdryer, Safe etc. Beds were comfy and room very dark with the lights out which was lovely. Staff were freindly and helpful and the location is very central, my only complaint is the room wasn't particularly quiet as noise from outside was fairly heavy and the heating system made quite a bit of noise too. A better stay then expected and excellent for less then £50.

Excellent location. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Downside is lack of parking although multi-storey car park very close by. Storage facility was very useful both before check-in and after check-out.
