Katie’s Pod
Highland

The Ardnamurchan Peninsula is one of Scotland's most remote and dramatic corners—a place where mountains meet the sea and the everyday world feels distant. Katie's Pod sits on the site of an extinct volcano near Kilchoan, less than half a mile from Sanna Bay's sweep of sand. The location demands a journey to reach it: a ferry crossing and a drive through glens and past lochs that are themselves the main attraction.
The pod itself is a single bedroom and shower room, with an open-plan living area that includes a full kitchen with electric cooker and dining space. A double bed sleeps two, and heated towels, bed linen, electricity and wifi are all included. One car can park on site. The decking area overlooks the loch and mountains—the sort of place where a morning cup of tea becomes a proper event. Dogs stay free and are welcome throughout.
From here you can reach Ardnamurchan Point, Sanna Beach and the surrounding coast on foot. The nearest pub and shops are four miles away in Kilchoan. For a longer excursion, the Isle of Mull is accessible by ferry from Lochaline, and the route north eventually leads to Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye. No smoking is permitted in the property.
