Osprey Lodge is a detached wooden lodge set on a working farm deep in the Cairngorms, with everything you need for a self-catering stay already in place. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included, and the kitchen is fitted out for proper cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher, and both a fridge and separate freezer mean you can prepare meals without compromise. A woodburner provides extra warmth on cooler evenings, and logs are supplied.
The lodge sleeps four across two kingsize bedrooms, each with a television. The open-plan living space opens onto a raised deck where a private hot tub sits, and the wet room has a roll-top bath and walk-in shower. Everything is on the ground floor with level access throughout. A utility room contains a washing machine and tumble dryer, and there is parking for three cars on site, including an electric vehicle charging point (charged by meter).
One dog stays free, and can roam off the lead in the enclosed garden, though must be kept on a lead elsewhere on the farm due to the working livestock. The 50-hectare holding attracts wildlife—deer, golden eagles, red kites and ospreys are regularly spotted. It is a quiet location set back down a private track, though Kingussie village lies just over a mile away. No smoking inside.

Stayed at the Wildcat Lodge. Was amazing! Had EVERYTHING you need and more. Loved the sauna outside in the quiet secluded area overlooking the mountains. The house had everything you need, hairdryer, tea, coffee, sugar, a welcome hamper, some pharmacy items you could use and replace incase you forgot to pack with you. And I enjoy my histoical visit to the barracks. Would definitely come back here to stay! Great for all the family getting together ❤️

I cooked here few times for Private clients for different occasions . Always I found happy clients and the Lodge is always very well kept , clean and comfortable . you can book this location with confidence . I see lots of houses , castles and lodges , so this is one that I can recommend too

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Osprey Lodge – A Perfect Highland Retreat We had an amazing stay at Osprey Lodge! This property is everything you could ask for in a holiday home. The spacious accommodation easily fit our group, with 4 comfortable bedrooms and a living space that was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The well-equipped kitchen made preparing meals a breeze, and we loved having the option to dine both indoors and outdoors. One of the highlights for us was the enclosed garden—ideal for privacy and spending time outdoors. The hot tub was an absolute treat, especially after long days of sightseeing. The lodge is located in a fantastic spot, with amenities nearby and easy access to key spots for touring the Highlands. Osprey Lodge truly felt like a home away from home, and I can't recommend it enough. Whether you're looking to relax or explore the stunning Highlands, this property is a must-visit!
