The Bothy

The Bothy is a ground-floor cottage in rural Sutherland, comprehensively equipped for self-catering. Everything you need is here: electricity and heating included, bed linen and towels provided, wifi for staying in touch. The kitchen has an induction hob, air fryer, microwave and full-size fridge, so cooking from scratch is straightforward. A woodburner in the living area comes with initial fuel supplied, with more available locally if you want to use it through your stay.

Layout is open plan—living and dining space with a smart TV, a double bedroom, and a shower room with cubicle. There's private parking for one car and a front garden with seating. The cottage sits in a quiet corner of the glens with picture windows toward the landscape. No smoking inside. Rogart itself is small; the area around it is all rolling moorland and Highland countryside. Loch Fleet National Nature Reserve, known for seals and rare birds, is within reach. Coastal villages, castles and beaches are accessible for day trips, and the North Coast is a drive away. Hill walks start from the property itself.
