Song Bird Cottage

Great place, compact but with everything you could possibly ever want and really well maintained and spotlessly clean on arrival. Great location for Inverness and Loch Ness, theres a large Tesco five minutes drive away but also felt secluded. Keep an eye out for the red squirrels in the trees around the accommodation - definitely a highlight of our holiday!

3 days into our 7 day stay and loving this cottage. It's beautiful, fantastic location & the owners seem very friendly and approachable. They also appear to have a grass cutting robot, like a roomba for the grass. It was the most fascinating thing. The cottage was very clean upon arrival, with a few goodies and essentials, I won't say more as not to ruin the surprise. My only criticisms are that it could be better sign posted from both the main road and then the minor road and that the scissors in the kitchen are quite blunt, but that's nit picking. 5 stars.

Stayed here for 1 week. Location is excellent and close to all local amenities. The cottage has everything you need, clean, modern but cosy. We were only 2 people but its more than adequate for 4 people.. Joan was friendly and greeted us after we arrived and settled in to make sure we had everything we required and gave us a few pointers on the local area. Thoughtful hosts by leaving some essentials in the cottage such as bread, milk & some treats. Joan also went above and beyond by sending my trainers back (which I forgot). I would certainly recommend this place and will no doubt be back in future.
