Tucked into a working hillside croft above Urquhart Bay, SecretScapes offers just a couple of pitches in one of Loch Ness's more peaceful corners. The forest-backed setting feels genuinely remote, with stunning loch views a five-minute walk away and the Great Glen Way passing right through the property. Drumnadrochit sits two miles down the road for supplies and the Loch Ness Experience, while boat trips and canoe hire let you explore the water properly. Urquhart Castle is ten minutes by car, and the A82 whisks you to Inverness in twenty-five minutes.

Facilities are deliberately minimal—there's water, a fridge and freezer, but no toilets, showers or electric hook-ups, keeping things wild and simple. You're welcome to bring barbecues and firepits, plus awnings for shelter. It's proper back-to-basics camping, which some will relish and others might find a touch too spartan, but for walkers, wildlife-watchers and anyone craving a genuinely off-grid Highland experience, this tiny hideaway delivers.
