Embo's sandy beach is a few yards away, and the village sits on the northeast coast with views across the Dornoch Firth towards the Moray Firth beyond. Royal Dornoch Golf Club, one of the world's finest links courses, is nearby. Dornoch Castle, a 13th-century stronghold, is also within reach for those interested in the area's history. The shoreline attracts birdwatchers keen on waders and seabirds.
Sunnyside Cottage is a 19th-century stone terraced house with one bedroom and one bathroom, sleeping two. The ground floor has a living and dining room with Freeview TV and Netflix, plus a kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Upstairs, the bedroom contains a kingsize bed and an ensuite shower room. A rear enclosed garden with patio and furniture provides outdoor space. There is parking for one car on site, with additional space on the road.
Electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The cottage is non-smoking. A path from the garden leads directly onto the beach, and the property enjoys bay views from its location on a quiet lane.
