Beauly sits within reach of Loch Ness and the Inverness area, and Tigh-na-Sgoile is a converted schoolhouse in Foxhole, a hamlet on the edge of this landscape. The property is yours alone, with parking for two cars and a garden with furniture outside. It's built timber-clad and finished to a high standard throughout, with an unusual layout: bedrooms downstairs, living spaces above, so the main rooms capture views across forest, fields, hills and mountain.
Downstairs there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has two single beds (3ft) with an ensuite shower room. The other is a zip-and-link kingsize, which can become two singles on request, served by a separate shower room. Upstairs is a single open-plan space where the living area, dining area and kitchen all flow together. The living room centres on a wood burner; the dining space has a table for four; the kitchen is fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and microwave. Wifi, electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wood for the burner are all included. A welcome pack is provided. The ramp to the entrance makes it accessible for those with mobility requirements. No smoking indoors.
This is a base for exploring the Highlands, or for a quieter stay in rural surroundings—the old school sits in open countryside a few kilometres from Beauly itself.
