Tom's Lodge comes fully equipped for a group holiday in the Cairngorms. The property sleeps 10 across four bedrooms—three with kingsize beds and one with two singles—spread over two floors with three bathrooms. Electricity, heating via a wood burner, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included, along with logs for the fire. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave and dishwasher; there is also a washing machine for longer stays.
Ground floor rooms include an open-plan living and dining space with a wood burner and smart TV, plus a utility room. The first floor holds a second living area with a DVD player and sofa beds, alongside the remaining bedrooms. A wet room with heated towel rail sits on the ground floor, and upstairs there is a full bathroom with a walk-in shower. Outside, an enclosed garden with sitting area and gas BBQ looks onto the forest edge; parking is available for four cars. The property's standout feature is the hot tub positioned to make the most of views across the Cairngorms.
Boat of Garten lies between Carrbridge and Aviemore in the heart of the national park. One dog is welcome. The garden contains an unfenced pond, which is worth noting if you have young children. Check-in is after 16:00 and checkout before 10:00; smoking is not permitted inside.

A lovely house, which has everything you could possibly want. Beautiful views, extremely comfortable beds, so well equipped. We were very lucky with the lovely Scottish weather, so much to see and do nearby.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed Tom’s lodge over the half term break. The house was well thought out and extremely warm. The views were to die for looking out to the Cairngorms Mountains. The kids were so excited to wake up to snow and made the most of it building a snowman in the garden and sledging at the side of the house where there was a small hilly area. All in all we had a really nice family holiday!

The view on arrival is breathtaken, property is massive, close enough to Avimore and Loch Morlich but also very peaceful no neighbours and very quiet apart from the odd cow, and the hot tub is a great touch, had a fantastic week, and will definitely be looking to book again in the near future.
