Woodland Lodge

Boat of Garten sits in the Cairngorms National Park, a landscape of mountain trails, river valleys and forest walks. The village itself is small and quiet, known for the ospreys that nest at nearby Loch Garten. A pub is within easy reach on foot, and there are shops and restaurants scattered through the area. The River Spey runs alongside, and forest paths and golf are on the doorstep. Aviemore, with its wider range of amenities and outdoor sports, lies a short drive away.

Woodland Lodge is a five-bedroom house that sleeps up to 12, arranged across two floors. Downstairs are three bedrooms (one kingsize with ensuite, two with singles), a family bathroom, and open-plan living and kitchen space with a woodburner and television. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, each with a double and a single bed, plus ensuite facilities. The kitchen has electric cooking and full refrigeration. Bed linen, towels and wifi are provided, along with central heating and electricity. Outside is decked garden space with furniture and a barbecue, bike storage, and parking for four cars. The house suits families; couples are welcome too. There is no smoking indoors.
