What diners say
Great bar I absolutely love this place. We went on a Thursday, and the vibe was really chill with not too many people, which made it even more enjoyable. I’m obsessed with their cocktails served in teapots such a fun and unique idea. They also have great deals overall, which is always a plus. The music was nice and easy to enjoy, and there was definitely space (and mood!) for dancing. Will definitely be coming back!

I attended a Hip Hop Brunch at Simmons Holborn recently and felt compelled to leave a review, especially for Morgan, who is currently training as an Assistant Manager. From the moment we arrived, Morgan completely transformed the atmosphere. His energy, personality, and interaction with guests made the entire experience unforgettable. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely loves what they do, but that was obvious from start to finish. The staff were dancing on the bar, the crowd was fully engaged, and Morgan was right at the heart of it all. What impressed me most was his knowledge of the music. Whether it was Dancehall, Afrobeats, Hip Hop or R&B, he knew every word and performed with so much confidence and charisma that he had the whole venue buzzing. Seeing a white British guy singing along word-for-word and bringing that level of energy to the room was unexpected and genuinely entertaining. Morgan didn’t just serve drinks or manage the floor – he put on a show. He made guests feel involved, kept the vibes high all day, and created the kind of atmosphere that makes people want to come back again and again. Simmons Holborn should be incredibly proud to have someone like Morgan on their team. If this is the standard he’s setting while still training to be an Assistant Manager, then his future in hospitality is incredibly bright. Outstanding service, incredible energy, and a huge asset to the venue. 5 stars all day long.

Absolutely shameful behavior. The night itself was great until it was time to leave. My girl went to the washroom, and while I was waiting for her, a security guard aggressively told me to leave. I politely explained that she was in the washroom and asked if I could wait just one minute. Instead of showing basic respect or professionalism, he insisted I wait outside. When I calmly repeated that I only needed one minute, he pushed me and called over another security guard as if I had done something wrong. I've been to many other clubs, and their staff always allow people a minute to wait while their friends or partners finish using the washroom. They make sure everyone gets out safely without treating customers like criminals. I've never experienced anything like this before. Being physically pushed for simply waiting for my girlfriend is completely unacceptable. I was respectful the entire time and never caused any trouble. This security guard's behavior was rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. Management should be ashamed that customers can be treated this way. One security guard's actions completely ruined what had been a great night. I definitely won't be coming back, and I hope management seriously reviews how their security staff deal with respectful customers.

Christabel was amazing all evening. She was continuously checking that our drinks were flowing and she made it her mission to ensure that we had an amazing night! She had the BEST hospitality and she made my night amazing. I would 100% recommend the venue for her hospitality alone.
