What visitors say
This place is wonderful! It's the second time I've visited with my family, and we have loved it both times. For me, the most important things in a campsite are peace, quiet, and cleanliness, and this site delivers on all three. The showers and toilets are always spotless, and the people who stay here tend to be lovely, respectful families, which creates a very relaxed atmosphere. Emma at reception is kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. She always goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. We will definitely make this one of our regular family holiday spots. I have completely fallen in love with their little pods—they are cosy, charming, and make the experience extra special. Highly recommended! M.C

Perfect little weekend stay. Owner was super welcoming. Shop/reception had very reasonable prices for snacks and cold drinks. Super spacious pitches and we were able to pick our pitch within our field and toilet/showers were clean

Brilliant place to camp! This place is huge. There's sections for dogs and sections for those without dogs to. The showers are amazing and stay lovely and warm with good pressure. They even have a mop in each shower cubicle so people can clean up after themselves. The toilets are really clean and are always stocked with hand soap and toilet roll, so no need to pack these things. There's also a good wash up area. The shop has just the right amount of necessities and the owners are super friendly and super helpful. Noise is minimal at night time, which is good and there's a lovely little park for the kids. There's also glamping type pods for those who desire more comfort. All in all this is a 10 out of 10 camping location and when the castle opens up again it'll be top notch!
