Second time staying here. Excellent location, nice and quiet but handy for the village of Hope and the Peak District etc. The facilities and quality are excellent. Everything you need is provided, even an electric car charger. There are bird feeders right outside the windows. Loved watching the birds, especially the woodpeckers. Julie & Stephen, the hosts, were so helpful. Nothing was a bother. Can't recommend Oaker Farm enough.

Had a short solo stay in the Old Dairy at Oaker Farm Holidays. Absolutely perfect, and could happily have stayed for a month! The property was spotless and had everything I needed for a restful break. The owner was friendly and welcoming and there if I needed her. With wonderful countryside views, it's ideally located within walking distance (mile and a half) for pubs/food at Hope. I particularly enjoyed The Cheshire Cheese Inn. Easily accessible walking routes to Castleton (1 hour) and hill walks to Lose Hill, Black Tor and Mam Tor and more. So happy I've booked to bring my family and friends to the two larger properties here for New Year!

Just had a fabulous stay in Losehill cottage at Oaker Farm. A warm cosy home equipped with everything we needed - comfortable beds, log burner, . So peaceful being at the end of the road and valley and hill walking straight from the door, yet just 20 min walk to shops. Julie was helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!!

What an amazing bank holiday weekend we had here. We stayed for my birthday and arrived with some decorations put up and a lovely cake left for us. The place itself is so lovely and cosy, hosts were friendly and helpful and location is fab. The views were incredible and had everything you could possible need. Will definitely be back!
